My name is Kristina. I am a writer, speaker, wellness seeker, woman of faith and wife from Richmond, Virginia. I love traveling, dancing, competing as a Strong woman and spending many hours in bookstores. After getting my degree in Psychology from Shenandoah University, I spent several years working in Social Services and now continue my human services work in the re-entry field. I am also recovering from severe psoriasis and holistic healing is of deep importance to me. In the last few years, I’ve decided to dedicate more of my time to my most beloved passion: writing.
I am the author of the upcoming collection of poetry and prose “She Lives Here” with L10 Press. It is the second issue of their literary subscription service “Unzipped” and will be released on March 15, 2021!. My first book, the E-book “What I Love About You: A Guided Journal to Writing Your Proposal and Vows” was self-published in 2018 and is available to download on Etsy (WhatILoveAboutYou). My work has been featured on kimberlyelise.com, Liminalities, foreverbemoved.com, The Churchill Newsletter, mitchell-productions.com and the online literary magazine, lifein10minutes.com. I was also a featured author at 2017 RVA Lit Crawl, Richmond, Virginia’s first literary crawl event and a panelist for James River Writers January 2018 Writing Show. I was selected to be apart of The Storytelling Project: Digital Storytelling for Women of Color at the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa. Join me on my journey!
